  • Little Treasure Cove
Little Treasure Cove is the northernmost part of Crystal Cove State Park and offers a great whale watching spot. Below the observation platform are great tide pools to explore at low tides. Access to Little Treasure Cove is easiest via a long paved path from the northern day-use parking area at the Pelican Point entrance.

  • Pelican Point
Pelican Point Beach is a broad stretch of beach between Pelican Point and Crystal Cove’s Historic District at Los Trancos Beach. The beach slopes gradually so it’s a narrow beach at high tide and a wide beach with rocks in the surf at low tide. There are tide pools at the north end near Pelican Point where scuba divers enter in search of even more marine life. At the Pelican Point lookout, there are several very scenic pathways along the cliff top that also lead to the beach.
